Our Little Story
A beautiful tattoo design we can find in all parlours is a Hawaiian hibiscus flower. I wanted a tattoo so I did a little research. This flower is associated with femininity, beauty and expresses individuality as it grows in many colours and sizes. In some countries it symbolises courage and honour, in others it represents immortality or wealth. And depending on the colour it may enhance its significance. I had it all worked out before entering the tattoo parlour; unfortunately, it was more pain than I can handle. After ten seconds, I tried to call it quits, but the artist insisted that I finish. I finally settled for a tiny butterfly!
The details in the center for the Hibiscus represent the feminine attention to details. The flower is usually colorful but as a tribute to my colorless butterfly tattoo, it remains colorless also. ;-(.
